Development of bioenergy or biofuel as an alternative energy source is very strategic to overcome the existing problems. Government of Indonesia concrete steps in the development of materials biofuels is by the issuance of Presidential Instruction No.1 of 2006 dated January 25, 2006 concerning the Provision and Use of Biofuels (Biofuel) as an alternative fuel. In International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) 2006 Red List, Kemiri Reutealis Trisperma is one of the Threatened Species and it is listed as Vulnerable (VU A1cd v2.3).
